FAQ
About the masterclass
Is this an online course or recorded classes?
No. We Love Media Academy is a fully in-person private masterclass: Juanma Salazar and Laura Malagon both work with you directly for one to two intensive days, followed by a month of remote follow-up. Nothing is pre-recorded and there is no platform to log into. The format exists for a practical reason. The hardest things to learn from video are the physical ones: where a light actually goes in your room, how your voice sounds in your actual space, which of the gear you already own is worth keeping. Those get solved in an afternoon with someone standing next to you, and can take months to solve alone from tutorials.
What exactly will I learn?
You walk away able to run your own digital presence without hiring anyone: plan a month of content and know why each piece exists, hold a consistent visual identity across platforms, film with usable light and audio, edit at the level your content actually needs, choose gear that fits your stage instead of overspending, use AI as a working tool rather than a novelty, and set up profiles, bios and link structure from zero. Both founders teach at the same time, in Spanish, which is unusual and deliberate: one comes from the creator and production side, the other from community management and operations, so one question gets answered from both angles at once. The program distills more than a decade of running campaigns for 100+ brands and talents as a Meta Business Partner. It suits people who want to own the process themselves. If your plan is to hand the work to someone else permanently, hiring the agency is the more honest recommendation.
Do I need experience or equipment before starting?
No. The masterclass adapts to your level and your current tools, and choosing the right gear is part of the program rather than a prerequisite for it. Most people arrive convinced they need a better camera. Usually the phone they already own is fine, and the real gaps are lighting and audio, which cost a fraction of a camera and move perceived quality far more. Starting with no equipment is genuinely easier than starting with a closet of half-used gear, because nothing has to be unlearned first.
What language is the masterclass in?
The masterclass is taught in Spanish, because it was built for creators and business owners who think, sell and post in Spanish. The system itself is language independent: content strategy, framing, audio, editing and platform setup work identically for an English-speaking audience, and students apply it to bilingual accounts all the time. What is specific to the Spanish delivery is the examples. The references, the humor and the tone used to explain each concept come from the US Hispanic market the founders work in daily. If you do not follow Spanish comfortably, this format is not the right fit, and we will tell you that on the first call rather than after you book.
